What drew me to him wasn\u2019t their relationship but his playful, expressive approach to type and layout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com\/images\/I\/51MGE2kxiVL.jpg\" alt=\"The Push Pin Graphic: A Quarter Century of Innovative Design and  Illustration: Chwast, Seymour, Heller, Steven, Venezky, Martin:  9780811841030: Books - Amazon.ca\" width=\"262\" height=\"304\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Out of the many illustrations Chwast has done, I found the book cover of \u201cThe Push Pin Graphic: A Quarter Century of Innovative Design and Illustration\u201d to be one of the most iconic designs. The polka dot patterned background is unique but not too prominent. The blue and orange complementary colours also help make the image visually appealing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.pinimg.com\/originals\/4e\/15\/8c\/4e158ca2ad99b952d0a3f36f7dfb4b66.jpg\" alt=\"Imprint: The Best Design Blog Written by top Illustrators &amp; Designers. | Seymour  chwast, Illustration quotes, Design quotes\" width=\"215\" height=\"377\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.pinimg.com\/236x\/0d\/e9\/1a\/0de91a4487837a2451df72d9fcce8d72--seymour-chwast-sketch-book.jpg\" alt=\"190 Seymour Chwast ideas | seymour chwast, seymour, milton glaser\" width=\"203\" height=\"389\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Personally, I love Chwast\u2019s colourful, flat illustration style and it feels very comforting and joyful. Another example of his works is his \u201cChwast Quotes\u201d. These lively satire illustrations are casual and engaging even when some of them include political statements.
