Even though phase 2 didn’t go as planned. But I really enjoyed having a week at the end of the third year mainly focus on one project. And I found that having a project one at a time works better for me, so I don’t have to pause the process on one project and work on another for due dates. Other than that, I felt grateful to have Judy takes over the project and offered me a week’s extension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Back to the project, I spent a lot of the time working on research and ideations. I found that in the automotive industry, the brand major focuses on the product, and graphic design (branding) is always the least considered. People still buy reputable parts\/products if the visual design is not appealing. As result, all the logo looks the same, and lots of branding is out of date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the ideation, I see the need to design a logo without bold text and with lines to show speed. I wanted the logo to be in line with current design trends and be visually cohesive. This gave me a chance to break the conventional idea of car logo design and try something new.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
