I really enjoyed this project, I have a passion for sewing and creating clothes so I found this super interesting. I wish I could have made the corset with all the instructions but the materials they used in the 1850s are less available now. In the 1850s sewing machines finally started becoming more available to the public so I really wanted to dive deep on how much work a middle-aged woman would have sewing a corset for one of her daughters.

I would give myself an 8/10, I worked really hard on drawing the images as well as drawing proportionate measurements for cutting and sewing. I also did extensive research on the instructions for the corset.
Including how to cut out the materials, how to measure to size and full instructions on how to put it together. I gave myself a lower mark because I didn’t bring an actual object with me.
