Psychedelic posters never fail to impress me. The use of complementary colours makes the entire piece pop and just radiates vibrance, and because of this, elements in the poster are easily distinguishable. Without colour, this poster would appear to be flat as colour helps provide a sense of depth and accentuates the layers of the varying subjects. Repetition would also be lost as well, as the purple creates a pattern that contrasts against both the black and white space and the object fill of the circle that helps frame the mountains.
