Although I chose different events, I learned that a key similarity between all my research topics was the power of art and design upon activism. I was most interested in researching Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice through a feminist lens, mainly because the work that she had done must’ve been revolutionary in the eyes of women at the time.
I spent about 4 hours in total with this project, including the research and putting together my InVision board. I think I spent the majority of that time researching mainly because I was intrigued by each topic I chose as I initially knew little to nothing about them. I would give myself an 8/10 because I felt as if I did a good job in connecting each of the ideas to the different groups. I gave myself a few marks off because of how I should’ve been more detailed in the descriptions of my photographs.
