About Me
The last 27 years of my career have been spent working and teaching at Capilano University, mostly in the Adult Basic Education program. I teach computers to adults between the ages of 18 and 80. I love what I do and I’m always trying to do it better.
I live and work on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia. In my time away from work I love to hike and explore with my three dogs. About five years ago I decided to hike and gps every trail on the lower Sunshine Coast and create a website as a resource (www.sunshine-coast-trails.com). I thought it would take me a couple of years, but instead it took about nine months.
Out of this interest came a love for photography. I had never been interested in taking pictures in the past, but I needed some for my website and fell in love with the whole process. Now I spend far more time out and about taking pictures than I do on my website, but that’s what makes life interesting – finding things you love and taking risks.
