I have had experience with City Studio before. During my Workplace Learning class, we were given an assignment for an actual client.

To summarize, it was meant to help the North Vancouver Fire Department wanted to try to gain more diversity in their workforce and asked the Capilano students to help them on achieving this goal. We were assigned to record interviews of people who would be capable of meeting the requirements to become a firefighter that came from diverse backgrounds. Once that is done, we would record the meetings, and make a presentation on our findings.

Overall, the findings in this assignment were that the Fire Department had to start using social media for postings, host events where they can find new hires and have people that already belong to diverse groups involved in the fire department be used as an example that this can be a possible career for minority groups.
