Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Liberal Studies
I have always enjoyed learning new ways to engage with technology. I have often chosen to teach myself new skills in, or broaden my understand around, using technology to my advantage. I am grateful that the opportunity of working as a DSA at Capilano University has allowed me to work within this natural interest, while having the opportunity to apply those skills to the development of a digital online learning framework. Furthermore, I have been able to develop and grow my understanding and skills around collaboration, especially in a team of people developing a new position. Most importantly, this position has allowed me to be of service to my peers and my University during what is such an unprecedented time of change, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I hope that the DSA position can be further developed, and continue to exist as a support for both students and the University as a whole!
