My original plan was to do green watercolour leaves in the background but decided to go with a completely different aesthetic. I chose to do my background using watercolours because it was the first medium I used. I wanted to incorporate colour without it being too bold. I chose neutral colours because they are often associated with fall and the changing colours of the leaves. The drawn leaves represent the immense growth I’ve experienced over the last year which I wanted to be included. I knew I wanted it all to be written by hand because one’s handwriting is extremely unique to anothers. In my spread I mention that I model, the photo I used of myself is from one of the first shoots I styled on my own.

I spent about 3 hours working on this project. I would give myself  8/10. I would change how I incorporated the words to be easier to read by using a bolder pen or marker.
