I was put into Survey 6, Dreams and Designers (1895-1905), which is an era of industry, science, invention and revolution. I was very interested in researching this time era because I had no previous thoughts on what this time was like and I was excited to face it with fresh eyes.  I chose to research the death of Queen Victoria as I felt that change comes with the change of great leaders – they make or break the attitude of the nation for their reign. It was interesting to see how in her life she was so influential and successful in so many different areas and how this presence lasted even after her death. I was also intrigued by how recent these new forms of fashion, new scientific ideas and formats of design were, and how much they have changed in modern life. 

Though I enjoyed the learning portion of this assignment I struggled with the Mood Board and overall communication of the project. I completed this assignment 2 weeks ago, but did it entirely wrong because of miscommunication in class and in the brief. I also am not a tech savvy person and had many problems formatting my Invision board. 

For this assignment I would give myself an 8/10. I feel that my content is very informative and highlights the most interesting parts of my topic. I used voice within my writing, I have interesting pictures that accurately reflect the times and I have followed the brief as best I can. Unfortunately I am still slightly unsure if I have completed this to the extent that you would like as well as invision is a bit tricky to navigate.
