I’m not going to pretend like I didn’t struggle with staying awake in survey two. It’s not necessarily that the content wasn’t interesting, it just didn’t interest me. But one thing really caught my eye as something unique during this lesson, Intaglio.

Intaglio involves caving an illustration into wood or bronze, placing paper over it, and rolling it into the stencil until the final image is produced. It’s simple, but effective and made me thing about just how many ways you can draw. It’s very easy to forget that you don’t just need a pencil and paper to create. but what’s even more interesting is how many other artists use this method.
