I wanted to pick a topic that was eye-catching and unexpected. Maybe it was because I was on a diet at the time… but I decided to go with a burger! I went with the title ” Tasty Type” to link my burger idea with the history of typography. I chose a black background to make sure all the colours would look crisp and vibrant. I did my best to match the colour of the writing with the burger ingredient. It was closest too. While creating this poster, I found it challenging to make sure all the text looked clean and stayed within the burger margins. This is one of the main reasons I needed to restart. I think I fixed this problem in my second attempt and am content with how it turned out. One of my favourite parts of this poster was writing the examples of the typefaces and spelling out “typography” as you read down the poster. Mark 8 / 10.
