These are the images I chose to do for this assignment as well as why I think they fit under a specific design element :].
Design Element: Direction
The direction of the tiger, as well as its stripes, create the illusion of movement and make the piece more dynamic. Furthermore, the branches flow and add form to the main subject. I personally admired the integration of a scene within the movie into the tiger and how smooth the transition is.
Design Element: Texture
The variety of patterns used add interest to the design. The spacing between each texture allows the viewer to digest it without feeling overwhelmed. I chose this piece because I found the combination of textures used quite intriguing, they guide one’s eye through the design.
Design Element: Color
The vibrancy and contrast of the colors makes the piece more interesting. The consistent use of warm hues establishes harmony and creates excitement. I found the bright red and yellow very charming.
