For the mood board, I struggled a lot with finding connection for specific events relating to some of the groups. I was unsure of whether it was right for me to compare them to today’s time or to find the importance of that event within its time period. Overall, I tried to correlate the images I picked with the points I discussed in my paragraphs, specifically in style. I wanted to create and establish more of an aesthetic, so I looked for images that had a similar style to images I picked previously yet they still hinted to my text. However, the image placement became frustrating as invision would organize my images and notes for me, which makes my mood board look disorganized. Despite all the challenges, I feel as though I learned a significant amount from doing the research and then reflecting on why these events were important; it helped me establish a deeper connection with the content and appreciate the past. I’d most likely give myself a 7/10, since I put a lot of effort into the research, yet I feel unsure about the execution.
