When I first saw this assignment, I knew right away that I would do something in the art nouveau style. Initially, I wanted to make just a poster in this style with a lot of details but later changed the idea to branding a lemonade bottle.
Going to the store and buying the most pretentious bottle with not exceptionally bright lemonade inside, I started sketching. Since I still had old sketches from the poster idea, my first thought was to draw only a face and roses around. But this idea seemed boring to me, so I made a mood board of branding various things in the art nouveau style: from bottles of parfait and rum to the cover of a book. I mixed all the ideas and got the final sketch.

It took me about 11 hours to implement this project, including all stages of work, from the first sketches to the final photo.
Grade
I enjoyed working on this project. Now I’m going through a rather difficult period trying to get rid of my perfectionism, so I’m glad that I didn’t decide to redo everything because of a drop of ink in the drawing. I like the combination of colours I used because I think they are suitable for the art nouveau style. However, it seems to me that the composition and the final photo could be better. I think I can add more small details or glass with flowers and a drink. But I live in residence, so it wasn’t easy to implement. I think I can give myself a good average grade of 7.5.
