Practicum Week Seven. The Final Week!

I can’t believe my practicum is already over! It went by so incredibly fast. My final week was a bit of a whirlwind. I got to sit in on a very high-profile meeting and got to participate in some of our usual client checkup meetings. Through my practicum, I have been able to learn how to conduct myself in meetings, which has translated well into interviews! Carson, Aiken, Annie, Hubert, and Leah have all been so fun to work with and are all such wonderful people. Everyone has taught me so much and I feel as though I have just beat the final level of the IDEA video game! I look forward to using the knowledge I have gained from my experience in future projects and work.

In my final week I got to illustrate story boards for a 3D animation we’re working on. The animation is being outsourced but the ideation is coming from our end! It has been a really big learning experience working with an outsourced animator. I unfortunately can’t show the sketches, but it sure was fun!

I also got to further design a logo! One of my designs was picked for an up and coming video production company. My 70’s inspired logo caught their eye and their running with it! Again, unfortunately, I can’t show you progress photos. But hopefully I will be able to sare more in the future.

My final week was spent finishing up loose ends with projects I’ve been working on. We did a final meeting with everyone as a goodbye and thank you! The only photos I’ll be able to share in this post are the group shots we’ve taken through the practicum. I hope to work with everyone at Production Road again in the future!
