Bradbury Thompson was born in Topeka, Kansas on March 25, 1991. While he attended Washburn College to pursue a degree in economics, he would also work creatively during his schooling years. He acted as the yearbook editor and designer of his college and also received a minor in art. Funnily enough, he also designed the school’s mascot, The Ichabod.

His career started when he moved to New York to design the catalog for the 1939 World’s Fair. He would then do work for West Virginia Pulp and Paper Company’s arts journal where he would heavily experiment with print, ultimately designing 61 issues.
