Use of Similarity 

FedEx (Federal Express) present day logo

In the FedEx (Federal Express) logo there is no spacing between the “d” and the “E” yet we still see it as if there was a space for the different colour grouping. This is from the illusion that similarity gives us. Of course the FedEx logo is famous for more than one Gestalt Theory but this is the one I wanted to point out for this particular assignment. 

Use of Closure

I chose the Beats by Dre logo to show closure as the “b” is brought into the circle of the logo using the surrounding white (negative) space. The logo is also shown as a head (the circle) with headphones on. As Beats by Dre is a audio brand making the headphone image appropriate.
