I took this photo during the first few weeks of the quarantine. I went out to the mall to get a charger for my computer and on my way home I was so struck by the emptiness of the parking lots for areas that are usually so busy. I had never seen the lot empty before and it seemed like something I should document

This was a test result from one of our first online tests for French 12. Anna and I both failed it even though we were the top students pre-pandemic. This single bad test result resulted in a very quick decline in motivation for this elective course.

I took this photo of Anna one morning before our classes. We had gone up to Sasamat Lake to swim only to find the gates closed and the docks closed off with plastic fencing. It seemed highly unnecessary and caused some disdain towards the community for prohibiting us from doing something that would be covid-safe and outdoors.

This photo was taken after we four graduated from high school in our friends backyard.

This is from the summer when our friend group completed the Sunshine Coast Trail but were unable to stay in the huts along the trail to limit interactions with other hikers. We wanted to do the West Coast Trail but it was closed due to the pandemic

This is a picture from my works “Quarantine crew” which wasus three staff members who were first able to come back to work after the initial quarantine scare. For a month we were the only three employees and we each worked six days a week and I did so while finishing my senior year. I took several tests and team meetings in the backroom covered in flour.

This is a picture of the shoreline trail in the first week after it was confirmed that schools were not going back in session. It’s unusual for it to be so stark but this quickly changed as soon the trail was unwalkable it was so congested with people.
