For my back cover I illustrated an old Gutenberg printing press printing out the Daily Herald poster by Edward Kauffer. My idea was to have the printing press represent the beginning of our learnings and have it printing out a poster from the end of our learnings. This represents where we started and where we ended, in hopes of depicting our journey throughout the class. The bottom of the original poster said “Soaring to Success!” which I thought would be a nice accurate thing to leave in, and I changed what the original poster said to make it say idea but left it in the same font.

I’m really happy with the out come of the cover I like how the yellow pops and I enjoy the overall concept as well. If I had more time I would try to do something interesting with the background, but for the time being I didn’t overly mind leaving it white. For these reasons I’d give myself a eight out of ten.
