Kentridge is an excellent artist that has influenced people all over the world. His art was loved by all that saw it and they still do today. When his work started getting published in the newspaper, he stood out as the voice of the African/Black people. This view is due to his drawings indirectly mentioning the inequality as suffrage of the people in Apartheid.
His work consisted mainly of charcoal on paper, which he then created into short stories. He also uses his talent for stage design as well as stories that flow with opera performances.
I think he changed the course of South Africa. He has influenced my view of art and some of its intentions, meaning and story behind work. I hope to be as influential as he was in my designs.
