From the project, I learned that when working with industry professionals, all messages need to be straight to the point. Clean and sharp. My mentor was really busy during the project, he replied to me once a week. Having messages clear is time-efficient.

When it comes to booking a meeting, I found it is really necessary to have detailed dates and times down, such as Feb23th 11:00 AM. Include AM/PM for time and specific date, instead of tomorrow or this Thursday. This can minimize the chances of misunderstanding and remembering the wrong date/time.

I had a few struggles with this project. First, my mentor was really busy. In the middle of the project, he left without informing me. As a result, the schedule and timetable were pushed back and messed up. The work could have been done in more detail if there could have been enough time. Secondly, my mental and physical health started to show some problems during this semester. The high intensity of my studies caused me to suffer from depression and anxiety.

During this semester, I gradually began to be disinterested in everything. I also started to question myself, and the quality of my projects was not good enough. Physically, getting enough sleep became my biggest need due to the rush of the due dates. I experience headaches every day because of staying up late, and my heart hurts irregularly. I have to take long breaks between working, this really slows down the progress.

The result definitely can be improved and refined. I would give myself 7.5/10.
