Aurelea Mahood is the Associate Vice President Academic and Vice Provost at Capilano University in North Vancouver BC. Drawing on her past experience as an instructor in the Department of English Department, program developer and past coordinator of the Interdisciplinary Studies major, and former director of academic initiatives and planning, Aurelea now leads the university’s academic planning and quality assurance, teaching and learning, and work-integrated learning units.
