For my yearbook, I used a simple white on black display with minimal colour, the colour I did use was to draw the eye towards the more important pieces of information. I used a minimalist design to show the simplicity in which I enjoy while still integrating images and designs that relate to me. From the tomato, swim goggles and Capilano University Student Card, the designs integrated are things that my life have revolved around.

The yearbook used a white on black display because of how they clearly contrast and to make the notes and key points more visible but more important, more legible. The simple white lines connecting the piece are used to show a sense of unity and connect the spread out the image. By implementing the line the piece looked far more connected and easier to traverse than the original spread out notes. As a scale of 1 to 10, I would likely give myself roughly around a 6 or 7. This grade is due to using the white gouache on black paper as using any pen or tool that required liquid would allow the guache to smear and spread.
