Rita Fadel is a Liberal Studies student in the final stages of the program. As a full-time employee at a financial institution, it has been challenging at times to find a balance; however, overall, the experience has been rewarding. After graduating, she plans to travel and continue learning about other cultures. Rita also hopes to explore work opportunities outside of Canada and experience firsthand what other parts of the world have to offer.

Grad Project with Umer Naqqash: The Rights of Women in Islam

Rita and Umer have made a documentary exploring the historical and cultural dimensions of the status of women in Islamic communities and countries.
