Bruce Mau was born on October 25 1959 and is known as Canadian designer and educator. Although studied and worked under several different occupations later in his career. He focused on architecture, museums, film, environmental design and philosophy. His broad set of skills is inspiring in the sense that theres always a new path one could take no matter what stage of life you’re at. Mau started his design career path at OCAD (Ontario Collage of Art and Design). Although he left school to join Fifty Fingers in 1980. He stayed for about 2 years before going to pentagram in the UK. He traveled again but back to Toronto as he had an opportunity to open up his own design studio “Bruce Mau Design”. During this time he founded the “Institute Without Boundaries”. This is a post graduate certificate program inInterdisciplinary design strategy at George Brown College centre of arts.
