Previously in a post, I talked about developing 3 logo concepts for a personal brand that would highlight myself as a creative. The following listed here is the final selection of the logo and some mockups that were created.

In the end I decided to choose the “@” motif for my personal brand. The logo leans both towards my work ethic in illustration and my witty design self; I am a very work-oriented and industrious person which is reflected in the angular sharpness of my logo. In the end I chose this concept as it looked the best and truly reflected what I wanted out of this project. I didn’t want anything too flashy or fancy, something that would mesh well with my illustrations and be straightforward for the viewer.

I’m quite satisfied with the end product, the research and self reflection put within this project was something that I enjoyed lots, especially diving deep and rediscovering my own passions.

I think overall I would grade myself an 8/10 for this project. The work was put in for this project and I explored many avenues where my brand could take me, but things that leaned more to my designer skills (presentation aesthetics and layout) could have been executed way better. Despite all this, the personal branding project is definitely something I am happy to have been a part of.
