Roman Du Roi & Louis XIV
For my typography zine, I chose to do King Louis XIVS’s Roman Du Roi typography.
I enjoyed this project since it’s the 1st time I’ve actually managed to complete a zine and it was pretty satisfying to fold it up at the end and see it in booklet form. Overall, it’s not visually interesting since most of it is just information in text form. Adding colour was a little tricky since my zine was all typography so I just settled on doing the drop caps in purple since purple is seen as the colour of royalty
I’d give my project 6 or 6.5 due to the above statements and because the design isn’t really “fun or engaging” as its more educational/informational and there are no pictures beside the Roman du Roi alphabet and King Louis XIV
