Three Trees Near Thixendale (Spring) (2008)

I enjoy David Hockney’s bright colours and his paintings of trees. They somewhat remind me of when I lived in Kelowna for a short time when I was younger. One of the few things I remember from that time is that I’d go to orchards a lot to pick fruit and we had a backyard with a fruit tree in it. So seeing his paintings with trees makes me a bit nostalgic for some reason.
