In the first round of sketches, I did some broad exploration, focusing mainly on my name and initials (AA) as well as various icons. This first round also served as a time to get rid of clichés. I also tried a few conceptual approaches with varying levels of success.
The second round of sketches was mostly powering through and trying to generate more ideas. Still focused on initials and icons, I tried out logos that showed my personality and most recognizable features. Even though I ended up going with concepts developed in phase 1, it was really valuable to explore different avenues.
