So far personal branding has been HARD. I like to think I’m a person who knows myself, but maybe it’s something about third year and genuinely beginning to prepare for the finish line that fills me with complete self-doubt. Thinking of my strengths and what makes me unique has been particularly challenging for me, which I think is partly due to the fact that I am surrounded by such incredible designers and illustrators (my dearest classmates). I suppose it is always easier to stare lovingly at others than to look in the mirror and look at yourself with that same love. I do feel as we continue to go deeper and continue hammering away at who we really are I’m started to get a clearer picture of who I am and what I have to offer.

For my moodboards I think I captured my personality very well so I’d give myself a 9/10. I would remove a point because I think I could have more type examples that are more body copy focused rather than display. Most of the examples almost feel like logotype, and I think there’s a bit of a gap for more of the functional typefaces I will need to use and that will bring order and balance to the personality heavy logo, illustrations and graphic devices.
